91 Suburban, Family truck build. She done :(

I will, gotta get passed a couple of busy weekends first.

Steering has been getting kinda crappy lately, and it tried to wobble on me coming home from work.
Wheel bearings were loose so while tightening them up i noticed this.......

Definently could have been bad, nut was just barely on and the arm was barely making contact, fortunately it didn't mess with the splines.
Very happy the hydro kept pressure off.

And a house pic for @nvrenuf

You need to get a lock nut for that!

Nice looking place, how much land?

I can't tell in the picture, but there is normally a lock washer under the nut. Does yours have one?

A couple of 1/2" "fender" washers will tighten up the kin pin bushing.

Put some fender washers on top of the springs in the axle, it didnt wobble after that.
Tightened the leaking ram assit fitting, no more leak.

Cut the bottom on the fender where it was smashed in to take the inner fenders out, that sucked.

Well hello and welcome! What branch and where ya headed? Wherever it is, be careful.
