I wonder if the roof rust is a Dodge thing (like cracked frames on Chevy’s, etc)? I have a love friend with a W250 and his roof is rotted across the top of the windshield too.
It’s very much a dodge thing, they used a stupid 3 piece design in the front by the drip rail….you have the inner roof, then a middle piece and the outer skin. They all come together at the drip rail. Dodge seam sealed it at the factory but over time the seam sealer cracks and moisture finds it’s way into the layers. They also get moisture inside when they sit out in the sun during the day and then it cools at night…couple that with the fact that dodge didn’t paint the insides of the roofs and it’s not a good combo.I wonder if the roof rust is a Dodge thing (like cracked frames on Chevy’s, etc)? Yup23 spline dodge 205.
That and the sleeve that goes between the trans output and the t case input…they treat me pretty good at the local yard but I spend a lot of time there tooJust that shifter bracket is worth more than what my yards are charging for the whole tcases. Well done.
