Sure thing.Would you be willing to take a few pics of the seats on your vette? Just overall how they're fitting into the interior overall. And how high your bottom seat cushion is off the floorboard.
Looking for some seats to put in my 4th gen Camaro, and they need to be low and narrow ish at the bottom. Most aftermarket are too tall, been down that road. Also looking for vehicles that I can get new covers and foams for which the vettes have a huge aftermarket and resto business following them. The aftermarket has ignored this car, I'm in that weird grey area that I'm too old for factory stuff and too new for aftermarket yet I guess..

What’s great is how stockish it looks under the hood. I don’t think i’d be driving it on those tires anymore though!@Fastereddie
Something to strive for.
This came up today. Coincidence? I think not.

The Story Of The 254 MPH Callaway Sledgehammer Corvette
A history of the one-of-a-kind Callaway Sledgehammer Corvette, the 898-hp C4 that John Lingenfelter drove to a 254-mph world record in 1988.www.chevyhardcore.com
That’s funny, I just quoted that movie yesterday.Sledgehammer!
The exact same thing happened on my sons C4. At night, on the way home from the drag strip. I guess the RPMs were too much for the unit.I went to go for a quick drive yesterday and noticed the tachometer jumping around randomly. I was like wtf? Look at the volts and it was at 11.8. I said o shit and turned off the a/c and turned around. Charged the battery and threw a new alternator on it. Good to go again.
I’m sure there will be some more issues along the way as she’s done a lot of sitting around!
I don’t “feel” like I have revved it that hard, but the old alt did have a sharpie date on the bottom from 2011.The exact same thing happened on my sons C4. At night, on the way home from the drag strip. I guess the RPMs were too much for the unit.
