Well got the 14 bolt disc'd, they seem to work much better than the non functioning drums/shoes it had on there. Also ended up only needing to put a pinion seal in it, the bearings were still tight. It appears the play I felt was more or less just u joint play.
Went to put the new front calipers on, turns out the banjo bolts were a different size than the ones it has on it. We did however get the old calipers opened up again with a big C clamp and using the old brake pad to press it back.
Also mounted a reverse light, got a set of flush mount LED tail lights as well. They wouldnt fit his car hauler, so we swapped my LED lights which fit.
Finally had a old Kenwood CD deck out of the suburban I stripped, so tossed it in and glad to have a functioning radio now.
Not sure if i mentioned it, but it has a factory tach that is non operational. Think I might start looking into how to hook it up b/c of the diesel it had.
Had a CK5 decal kicking around and figured id stick her on the window.
A few of us are going wheeling tonight, kind of pumped to try it out and see what it will do.
