Got a bunch done, plumbed rear brake lines. Hooked everything up on the rear end.

Used stock length rear shocks on the front, had to widen the mounts up. I'd guess bushings that came in them are slightly wider?

Front brake lines are ready to go in.

Had to kick it out so I could swap interior door handles on my 97 today.

Had the k20 out on the 20th for a trail run with a local club. Haven't had time to toss any pics up.

Thirdly a guy a work bought a 75 K5, it has the stock steelies with hub caps. Not the 8" wide rims from the looks of it or the nice hubcaps. But nonetheless I might trade te rally's and cracked up 31s for them.

Didn't realize at first that the k10 has a 350c lockup converter style.

Looking to switch it to a non lockup style, got a ford buddy with a 350/203 combo he said I could have. Hoping to snag it this weekend.

That's weird. I didn't know they had those in that year model. Someone may have put it in there for some reason. I don't like those things. You get on the gas and nothing happens for like 5 seconds.

Yeah buddies old 1980 had the same thing. Wikipedia says it was available 80-84. I didn't know it existed in 4wds

My '85 with the TH700R4 had one but it quit locking up after a while. I was glad too. I drove an '84 2wd in high school with a stock 305, lockup TC and 2.73 rear end. That thing was a slug. Got good mileage though, so I guess it all worked together as designed. Once you add bigger tires though, it's time to upgrade everything else too.

Yeah might as well do it right the first time.....although if I wasn't planning to use it to launch boats lots I would make it a 3 pedal rig and call it a day

Miss having an auto. Also for my better half to drive. She doesn't have much interest in driving a manual.

Grabbed/dropped that t350 off to get rebuilt yesterday.

Swapped gauges for the 1976 ones out of that high Sierra. Couldn't swap the oil pressure being ones mechanical/electric. Got the dash pad in as well, much better than the ugly 80s one.

Finished up front brake lines/bled them all.

Tore the 205 down, ground the shift rail. Just need deans shifter so I can finish the twin stick.

Guess i didn't mention buddy brought home a 76 high Sierra 25 he is gonna scrap. Rotted right out. So I snagged wood grain door panels, dash pad, 1 piece floor mat, gauges, dash pad, sport mirrors, grill.

Prob go back and grab the seat/ steering wheel as the seat is pretty well like new compared to my current one.
