Colorado is at the very top of our wishlist, but the likelihood is fairly low. We'll see though, nothing is impossible.

Ended up with a little time last night to get some more done on the 1st stages of the rear bumper. I needed to start with some tube work 1st, then I can figure out all the gussets and swing out tire carrier mount for it are going to be.
Couple pics of where I'm at.
Another mounting hole that was in the bumper. This hole was never used in the original set up, but it should add a lot as far as tightening the bumper to the tube structure.
Center mount disco.
This weekend will be spent getting the tub all set up again. Engine cage, A and B down tubes to the sliders, console/seat bar all need to be mounted in the their original spots to the frame. Then I can mock up some tube BL mounts as the tub will be hard mounted to the frame.
Once all that is back to where I like it, I can start on the mounting of the rear bumper. I just want to make sure that my height is correct and everything else works in the rig before I hard mount it to its attachment plates.

I just gotta say, every time you post progress on the tube fame you are installing in the bumpers I just find myself thinking how cool that is. Having the strength of the custom bumper but with the factory look is just freakin' awesome.

That looks great Mike! The tubes look similar to how I made my rear bumper except way more MOO.

And yep, the hitch will be part of the first piece that slid into the back frame horn area. It will be a longer receiver, but I kinda have a plan to strengthen it up a bit tho.

Yeah, yeah, they're going to bend up like a coke can under you're big boned foot, but until then, they're going to look coooooooool.
Really, not a lot of work done yesterday. Had a constant flow of people stopping by the garage yesterday. Some brought beer, so that really slowed down the progress.
No kids B-ball practice today for the kid, so I should be able to get out there pretty early.
Practice called off from what! Weather was to nice and everyone wanted to stay home a drink Neer work in their garage and wear flip-flops all day!?

It's Sunday, Dude. Thank God for at least one day that we don't need to drive him. The 6:30-8:30 at night, every night, gets a little old.
And as far as the rest of your first post. I sense a lot of built up anger in there.
Are you angry, Dean? If so, we can work on that together. Hell, we can even invite Eric in on the phone therapy.
Remember, beautiful things take a lot of work, that's why I work out twice a day. To stay beautiful.
The temp is a cool 60 up in the garage today. Nice working weather.
To keep this on topic, what do you guys do for knee pads, San Francisco Slippers, whatever you want to call them?
With all of the up in downs in the garage on concrete, I strap on my knee pads pretty much everyday out there, the same with work.
For the last 15 years I've been using the same type of knee pads at work. I don't know if they were always called KneePros, but these are worth their weight in gold for me.
They're not like the crappy gel ones that make you feel like you have a beach ball under your knees and they don't slip down to the back of your calf. Once you get them on, you pretty much forget they are down there. For 30 bucks, well worth it.

Those look super comfy, but really damn hot. I've had some like those before, I just don't want to wear them in the summer.
Some more pics from the today..
Added some bars and tacked in the two most outer ones. The inner one is going to butt up against a removable bolted plate that sits against the frame rail/extension thing.
Till it came out like this. (just hangin' there)
and the skin on it.
And a close up.. Each one had a bend in it to hit the two tubes and ride against the skin.
Then it came to figure out mounting. I know that I'm putting plates in these two holes to mount the skin.
Just not sure about this area yet. The blue is to get cut out for the spindle mounting.
I mocked up what would be a gusset and frame rail. Still thinking about this one, too.
And that's where I got hungry and came in for pizza.
