I am hoping to get an Elbe trip in this fall/late summer when I get back. It'd be cool to wheel with another full size guy. I mostly wheel at Walker Valley because its close for me.

Absolutely man, let me know. My fall is filling up rather fast with blazerbash and salmon fishing and what not, but let me know, I would love to wheel with another full size. These yota guys just aren't as fun

Yeah man! I should be home right around the start of pink season so I am pretty stoked about that! I am going to Montana for Rifle season in November, but really want to get down there fall/winter/spring for some wheeling! Walker Valley is small and gets old quick. Pretty fun during the winter cause it gets so torn up though.

unless he runs the rivers.... I'm mostly curious to see if he fishes were I grew up.
I am somewhat new to the area, been in washington 2 years, but I will do rivers and I have a boat. Crabbing, shrimping, trolling for salmon, bottom fishing in the puget sound, and trout in lakes. I do like the pink salmon run in the rivers the most though.

Okay so to finish off the front wrap bar build I did the passenger side as well. The front heim has a 5/8" bolt that goes all the way through the b52 bracket. To keep the heim from walking left to right the bolt is sleeved on each side. I also cut a slit and welded up the tube so it has a slight bend. It doesn't spin around so long as the nuts on the heims are tightened down.
I also picked up a long bed so I can start the process of skinning the rear of this thing to make it look like a chevy again. And that is my middle child, trying to help, but slowing me down.
And I picked up some 46" Godyear mvt's in pretty good shape for a decent price off craigslist. Here is a pic for those of you who like tire comparos. 44" bogger vs 46" goodyears (boggers are at 5psi). These will be a snow tire only. I am going to mount them on stock deuce split rims.
so then I went and wheeled at Elbe hills. I took some youth from my church I work with, didn't do anything too crazy, just showed them the ropes, hopefully it got one or two of them into it. I remember an EJS trip when I was 14 and I got hooked then, so sometimes I try to repay the favor.

I always hated these $18 harbor freight headlights. Man are they pieces of crap... obviously. But hey, they fit my budget at the time. So time for some new headlights.
These are from sidetracked offroad, they seem to be the best LED's at a reasonable price. They light it up pretty good. I got the flood design and not spot. I want to light up 100 feet fully, not 500 feet narrow. And no this does not drive on the street, no need to be street legal.
I also replace my makeshift radiator overlflow tank that was bolted to the firewall. I reused the original windshield washer fluid tank, it worked well, but had to go. The one i used is linked below, sorry no pics.

So then the following weekend I hit up Reiter Foothills with a buddy who has a trent fab buggy. I guess this place used to be rediculously huge and had tons of hardcore stuff but they shut it down and have been spending a healthy amount of money and time rebuilding the trails to be less "muddy". They basically are man made trails with base layers of small rock. It's kind of small, but what they have built is really good. Some of the best man made trails I have ever ran. I wish I lived closer so I could give more volunteer time to help build them.
My friend's buggy makes my rig look like a pile of booty fab.... which it is.
Ruff stuff 69... I have a chubby.

You going to sipe the military tires?
Nope, just run them in the snow. I don't care enough about the goodyears to put that much time into them. Grooving my original sx's and boggers took a butt load of work. It was worth it for them, but I will only hit a snow trail or two a year with the goodyears so not worth it in my mind.
