Anyone got aftermarket seats in their k5? Looking for hands on experience, can't find any factory seats near me for my 83 might just have to bite the bullet and go aftermarket.
Can't stand the tan leather seats the po installed (terribly I might add)

If you have the coin to throw at the easy button, Merricks seat brackets will fit just about any coupe/convertible or shorter car-style seat in there. If you put the taller SUV/Truck seats on those they'd be crazy high up. I prefer to fab things though, so i'm stubborning my way through the process of installing 2014 denali heated/cooled seats in mine.

Mine has buckets from a 90's era Tahoe/Yukon. Very comfortable but still has that "GM" look, even the burgundy color of the seats matches the original interior pretty closely..

2022 Honda Odyssey. Slide, recline, fold 90° and built in belts. If you use the Honda tracks you can even get them to slide left and right. Which I might be doing. Will have to fab mount.

2nd vote for the Odessy seats. completely self-contained. Mounting bracket is easily made. You can make a secure storeage area with a little extra work, The seats were a little low for me, so the blocks just raise them up. You could also just bend the metal a little higher. Here's how I would do it:

Multiple vehicles with Recaro Seats , no complaints.

Saw custom made seats at a car swap meet, made in Greece to order...nice looking product.

Blazer is OEM , with Kat skynz leather interior.
