First pass went well. After that the street tires, and diesels pickups destroyed the track surface. Every pass became slower, and slower. Turned into a tire fryer.

Made 3 passes, but the track surface went to crap. 60 ft times slowed to 2.2 sec. Then a storm rolled in and rained us out.
So you can blow the tires off easier?

Def a good feeling to run 1.78, on the first pass. My Monte Carlo ran a best of 1.85 60 ft.
There was a nice Nova there last night. He was running nice 1.80 60 ft, but then would rip off a 6.9 sec 1/8 mile, at 106 mph! 377 sbc. 4l80e, twins on 16 lbs of boost. FAST EFI. and electronic boost controllers.
