I have wasted a lot of time watching those. They also have some where the ladder is carried to an overpass and the guys jump off while moving, stand the ladder up and sprint up.

The LT5 in the new vette makes 670 HP NA, if you add the same 21 lbs of boost as the Demon 170 on E85, that's over 1400 HP....

Probably not. Old Mary at the top of GM has the engineering teams collective nuts in her purse. Besides the fact that the C8 isn’t remotely Drag racing focused at all.
It’s almost as ridiculous to put that Demon on a road course against a Z06 as it is to put a Z06 on a drag strip.
They've put turbos on Chevrolets, Cadillac's, Buicks, and GMCs, it's possible...
The Z06 I think runs 10.6 seconds stock, it's so much lighter, and with the engine in the back doesn't have to transfer as much weight to keep hooking. I think it has a better chance in the 1/4 than the Demon has on a road course. I think there is already someone running 8s that has turbos ona C8, and it isn't even a Z06 I don't think.
But either way, if they did it, it would still be awesome.

I didn't think they would come out with a mid engine DOHC V8 Vette either. I feel like adding turbos is the next logical step, that is, if it doesn't get killed off by an electric Vette first....
