The old man bought this late model 4020LP brand new in 1969. We took the loader off of it a few years ago, and he is having it restored now.

The old man bought this Super M-T/A in 1985 on a farm sale. I overhauled it a few years ago, and then he had it painted. It has just sat ever since.

The new horse is sitting next to it.

I stole this International one day. I believe it was a 1486? It was a giant hunk of shit, so I took it back.

This was the dash of the old man's 4650. He traded it in several years ago. It was a cool tractor for a 2wd.

Welded up the casting?

Probably replaced with one from a junk yard.

Martin

Dad didn't remember how it was fixed, but thought the C was only a few years old when it broke. Don't know if it had a warranty yet or if a junk yard part was used. He did say it was extremely cold when it happened.

We've had to have cast sections welded back up before. Five or six years ago when moving some hay around with the 656 we had as the loader tractor had a bearing cage come apart in the diff. The cage failing allowed the rollers to come out and one of them got caught between a gear and the bottom of the housing. It blew out about a 1' square chunk of cast. :doah:

This M has had a lot of work done to it. It has a 4-53? Detroit with a turbo feeding the blower and also has an over/direct/under from an oliver. He does plow with it too.

Not much Farmall left in that one, eh?

Looks like it was a blast of a project.

I like the styling of the Minneapolis-Moline "Orchard Tractor" with the cab and fenders--reminds me of a 34 Ford coupe, very sleek and stealthy...not very good for rugged tractor duty uses though--probably why so few sold.."too pretty to use it!"..

The MH101 is cool too--so many of those old tractors had great looks as well as being functional..some of the Case and Oliver tractors were pretty well designed both mechanically and in looks..
