That's a long way from Bikini Atoll.Lots of new members since I was last active.
Anyone in MN attending the nowthen, or almelund threshing shows? I'll be pulling at now then for sure. Maybe Almelund too.
Looking forward to the pictures

@streetrodchev thanks for all the pics
Next time you guys get close to an Oliver, can you get some more detailed pictures?
Any of them really. I just don't see many in person. What model?
We have a 60 row crop in the back of the shed I'll grab a picture the next time I'm at the farm.
Meanwhile this will hold you over

Need to know more on the "Farmall" mini puller.
..he said "Sorry man,I didn't think you'd come back--that guy just gave me $1800 for it.."I missed out on an Oliver Super 77 with a loader and a cab for $1500 several years ago--I stopped at a yard sale, and the guy who lived there turned out to be a guy I knew,he was a mechanic at the John Deere place just down the road, and he always got good "trade in" deals from there to flip for profit..
It had a straight 6 ,I think a Continental engine, and it ran good,he said it had 2 burnt valves and he did a valve job on it..it was in real decent condition too, always been stored in a barn..
I wanted the thing bad, told him I'd give him the $100 I had on me for a deposit, but he said "Naaa, just come back tomorrow with the full amount"..(it was Sunday and my bank was closed,no ATM then either)--when I returned the next day, someone else was just finishing strapping it on their trailer....he said "Sorry man,I didn't think you'd come back--that guy just gave me $1800 for it.."
The guy offered to sell it to me for $2000,and deliver it to my house, but I didn't have that much..thing had down pressure, loaded tires and a counterweight on the 3 point hitch too..I was pissed!..
About a year later I saw another Oliver nearly identical to it closer to home for sale, just the tractor though,no loader, cab, or other attachments --priced at $700 B/O...
I think it may have been the same one, that was "stripped" and they just wanted the tractor gone, the guy had several other farm tractors all over his property..I passed on it though,I wanted a loader..
Trivia Fact:
Allis-Chalmers was instrumental in early X-Ray development and production. They made some huge ones.
