How does the dash attach to the truck? Does it bolt to the side panels of the cab like the OE dash?
That's damn nice Kert. I guess I will be sending you more of my money as soon as I get around to doing my dash. I could damn near drive to Iowa to give you a hug. Been needing something nice to replace my dash for a while now. I wont do it though, I like my man card!!!

Very interested. Any idea on how long until they will be available? No heater or anything under dash needs to be there.
Have you considered integrating a front roll bar with this design. I would be more inclined to go through the effort if there was functionality associated with this rather than mostly looks. This is the perfect opportunity to cover both.
i agree that it isn't simply cosmetic. to do custom aftermarket guages and a decent switch panel in one of our trucks requires ALOT of work on the existing dash to make it look nice. try searching the images of threads titled something to the effect of: "where to mount switches???" and you'll find alot of people doing really ugly stuff. We have discussed an option for openings to allow for a cage to go through the dash.
I don't see it as just a "look good" piece personally.

additionally, if you are having to replace your dash pad - it costs about as much as this dash.
the dash opens up lots of options that the stock ones don't really allow for.
any way to make the glove box water proof? Im thinking it would be a good place to mount an ignition box.
Now once you get it all figured out if it will fit over everything under an 89 blazer dash that is fully loaded let me know.![]()
