And it continues build thread. Dead.. sent to the scrapyard

no doubt Jess, great progress man. I gotta pull my doubler to fix a leak, man they are heavy bitches aren't they?

Been watching this for awhile, looks good

Heavy is an understatement. I could barely lift the 203/205 by myself from the bench to the floor. I could not have gotten it in without the tunnel pulled, and a cherry picker.

That was just a controlled crash drop for me..

Yeah for sure. Yesterday I went backwards when I realized I put the flexplate on backwards. :doah::doah: Pulled the engine and put it back in. Tomorrow I fix the duramax and start cutting the front up :)

Nice. I'm stoked to see the finished bed. I really like tube beds that are skinned. :waytogo:

That sounds lik you are going to cut the front of the duramax up....

On a more serious note, this thing is real close to moving under its own power again it seems. sweet.

Still have a lot of work left to get it ready though I am sure.

Yes its getting close. I plan on flexing it out tonight to see how much droop I get and to see what my drive shaft angle is going to be. The rear I'm not worried to much about But I might have to get a HAD 42 degree front double cardian

And no Im not cutting the duramax up.hahah

Those puppies are some major coin. If you don't plan on any high speed stuff just do the 1410 thing, that will take the angles, just won't be smooth at higher speeds. Be careful though, next thing you know you'll be turning the Cs and putting links in the front in order to fix the front driveshaft problem. :waytogo:

Already looked at the angle and was like man I'm gonna have to turn the knuckles. I'll see how it goes, I want to get one season on the current setup before the links come out :)

Nothing wrong with that :dunno:

Jess I don't have a fancy high angle CV joint, just a clearanced 1310 cv but I do have a 12" slip and I use most of it, I also have a 1410 at the 60 which helped because the 1310 was rubbing pretty hard.

You need to narrow it more LOL :D:D

Eric thats narrowed 20". 10 on both sides I can't go any more without hitting the radiator and fans.
