And it continues build thread. Dead.. sent to the scrapyard

Nice progress Jess, the trailer will be handy.

Too bad I'm not closer, I could help you bleed the brakes.

However, if you have to do it yourself, I have used a glass jar and a hand vacuum pump before. Just drill two holes in the lid of the glass jar, so some rubber line or clear rubber line will fit in it. Then hook one to the vacuum pump and one to the bleeder. Then, use the vacuum pump to apply vacuum inside the jar, the jar will pull the brake fluid into it, leaving the vacuum at the top so it doesn't get inside your vacuum pump. I have to admit though, my hand was tired from cycling the pump and it was slow compared to having another person press the pedal.

I ordered a power bleeder. We shall see how that works. I wont have time to work on it for a while.

Thinking about switching the build up soon. As I keep looking for the perfect house, my dream of having a huge space to work on this thing, seems to be that just a dream. So I'm thinking I'm gonna wheel it this summer grab the drive train and then buy a k5 or jeep rolling chassis. My wife wants kids soon and the truggy isn't kid friendly. I hate to say it but I would rather have a nice house right now then a garage. Kinda sucks with all the time and effort I have put into it but that's life. And at least I'll wheel it once or twice before it goes bye bye.

Well, sorry to hear you have to sell it, but whatever makes you happy. If you get enough land you can always build a shop later...

Not going to sell it. Mostly scrap it/ rob parts for a full bodied rig. Well see I keep going back and forth on it.

I meant as far as the body/frame/tube work. If ur gonna scrap it, let me know first. We could put it to use, got plenty of ten bolts and old motors we could slap in it for a 2 trackin rig

Make it kid friendly then. I managed to jam a 3rd seat in mine. You can do it.

Booooooo

redo your back tube work put a jeep seat in it. Plenty of room for the smaller folk ( like you :D:D)

I can send you diagrams if you want. :D

Trust me by the time the kids get old enough to really take em wheeling they are either going to love it so much they don't care, or be so scared they don't care.

Just sayin its pretty easy to make the truggy family friendly, just get a garage big enough to work on one truck at a time. SAS the durmax for mild wheeling and make the truggy work

Isn't it lame how most sheeple think a garage is just a place to park your car ?

How lame and uncreative can you get.

Very few houses out there that are car guy friendly

And very small cars at that. Most the houses that have the features we are looking for, like an open floor plan and decent garage are in associations which have rules. For example no broken down vehicles, and no privacy fences. So storing it outside is out of the question even though it moves if they are that uppity about a car sitting in the same place I can't wait for them to see the truggy.

Those rules are made to keep "people like us" out. I would steer clear of those HOAs, you may not be happy in the long run.

Yah I've talked to a few neighbors in each place. Some are more lax than others. Some are just to maintain the community park at the end of the road and just that. The other kind is you can only mow your lawn on a tuesday at 4pm. The strict ones I am no way considering no matter how awesome the garage and house are.

Yep HOAs hate poeple like us and it only takes one person in the HOA to ruin it for ya.

I have even heard of people getting fined for washing a muddy truck in their own yard.

HOAs were designed for boring poeple with no good stories to tell.

I am pretty sure all of us on this board are not that.

Just keep the truggy running then its never "broken down"

Also I heard HOA people enjoy single tire burnouts so you might fit right in:D:D

Hahah they love the one wheel peels!!! And I'm sure they will love how loud both trucks are.

Oh yah and my dad just bought a two post 7k lift for a grand. Soo install pics hopefully soon :)

Good thing I didn't buy a house yet. The president of my company asked me if it was possible to move to west michigan to help manage the chicago office. Not set in stone yet, but I may be moving to the south west side.

Redid my hydro routing, and bleed all the brakes again. Went to start it and nothing. Cranked and cranked fired stumbled then would not start. After pulling the air filter, I have a feeling my TPS may be bad. When the butterflies are closed it dumps in a ton of fuel, when its WOT it sprays very little fuel. Gonna pick up new plugs and tps as when I pulled #1 it was beyond fouled.
