If they really want your car/truck, nothing will stop them. It just may take more time and effort. Figure if they break in, break the column and try and start it and it doesn't crank, or cranks and won't fire, they aren't going to stick around in a parking lot in broad daylight or in the dark trying to figure it out, then you need to buy a new vent wing and column. You will keep 99% of thieves from taking it. Our trucks aren't a hot commodity in theft circles anymore. Its all newer stuff for crash parts, lights, airbags, fenders, bumper skins, etc. I have buddies that do repo's, and they WILL get a car, whether they drag it around a corner and then hook it up to a rig, put go jacks under all the wheels or they pour liquid laundry detergent in the tire tracks and up on the flatbed. Only car that is not getting towed easily is a car or truck on bags. My buddies dually lays on the rockers when its dumped.
