Any decent Blazers in Colorado?

Are you trailering it?
I am south of Palisade if you need anything that I might be able to help with.
Nope, I'm going to make an Adventure out of it. Plan is to leave Denver at 3 am, pick up another friend and drive out to BFE to finalize the purchase. Then turn around and jump it back to the city.

Oh and I'm bringing my 2 kids (8 and 6) so my wife can have the house to herself for a day finally. They've only seen pictures so far and think it's about as cool as can be.

Roadkill adventure with kids. Right on. That should cement some lasting memories in the kiddo's minds.

Ballsy and badass at the same time! Good luck man! Good to see and happy to watch what it becomes!?

Sounds great!
Nucla isn't quite BFE, but you can see it from there! Lol! Not much cell service down Hwy 141, but great scenery, in case you haven't been that way before.

If Nucla isn't BFE, what is? Haha

I went to go check it out last weekend and had no idea how beautiful highway 141 was. Incredible views out there.

The old boy selling it says he never took it much past 55 on the highway, but had driven it to Lake Powell a few times. We will soon find out if that was just a personal preference or some sort of mechanical problem.

I've been preparing the kids that it will be hot, loud, and long ride home over the mountains with no AC. I'm bringing a cooler of snackies and our Nintendo Switch to keep the whingeing to a minimum.

Beautiful country. I love that back way from Moab through LaSal to Ouray on that route. So pretty from Nucla headed west into Utah.

With 2.73 gears, the top end will only be limited by the power of that GM Goodwrench replacement engine.

As for the hot ride. Simone out there in Colorado might have the lines, compressor, and brackets that are missing.

141 is a sweet road. Rimrocker crosses it above Nucla. The gateway museum is on the northern end if you have time to check it out. Lots of cool cars in there.

Have fun!

First project is to put on a smog pump, egr valve, and catalytic converter to pass emissions.

I showed the wife that resort. We may have to make a trip back out there for fun sometime.

He was a passenger (and the photographer) on my California to Nebraska trip. This is a pretty short trip in comparison.
