what exactly does my front axle size have to do with breaking transfer cases?
I have had that thing airborne quite a few times, its a mud truck, i am not easy on it, I don't break much in that front end. I keep spare shafts/hubs/spindles/bearings in the truck, I don't mind getting dirty to replace them on the trail if it means saving 1500 bucks on a D60. That is a monumental waste of money in my application.
For 1100, I was able to buy a deuce 1/2 matched set. they will be going under when the mud dries up this next summer. until then,
I was simply looking for some ideas on how to keep my it together for this winter wheeling season, not really interested in hearing all about how I shouldnt run 44's with a 10 bolt. Obviously it is a subpar axle. It works fine till the rock swap, and it in no way plays into my problem.
Im not new to this. Im just looking to bounce some ideas off of some other truck builders on how to set up some sort of ladder bar to keep that axle from breaking my Tcases.
