Why do you want to run 38's?

If you want lots of attention in your truck ditch the body lift trim the fenders NICE put the same 38s on it. Low trucks with huge tires get noticed. Most people don't even realize why they think they are cool they just know they are.

This statement is silly and I disagree
Fender Nazi STRIKES AGAIN!!!![]()
Well I will counter that with a disagreement to this.....any I move to strike!! And those that don't agree with what blazenzuk said are those that don't really use their rig for offroad (which is fine if that is not your cup of tea, but if it isn't, than please don't comment)
Lower stance with bigger meats and cut fenders looks 10 times better than taller lift just to fit tires with no trimming, IMO. Plus, the overall perfomace increase in undeniable

This guy isn't using it for offroad he stated that like 3 times already... So it would be a waste of sheetmetal IMO. And I lifted mine higher than needed so I didn't have to hit fender at the dunes, and I wouldn't call myself someone that doesn't offroad my rig...
And eric knows im just screwing with him![]()

High COG is what you want for go fast dune rigs I hear.![]()
Wheels can make or ruin a truck. IMO most of the new larger wheels' style doesn't flow with the lines of the older trucks, but some of them do. I really like the way KMC Diesels look and if I ever switched my truck to a srw sb I would probably run them.
I really like the way this truck looks. I think the proportions are tastfull and it has a modern look. Would I use it for hardcore wheeling? No, but that's what my k5 is for.

Wasn't referring to offroad, was referring to blazenzuk's comment about getting peoples attention, but it works for both scenarios. And no offense to the dune people on this site, but I don't count driving around on some sand as "offroad". Seems really boring to me. I have rode my 08 CRF450R in the dunes many times, and that even got old after a while. Can't imagine driving a vehicle would be better. To each their own i guess
Says someone from the rust belt...ha. totally different attitude out here. I dont think I've ever cut out rust. Ill cut for clearances.Lol ok whatever you say.
I still see trimming fender on a street driven rig is a waste of sheet metal. But to each his own.
It's not just about driving around; theres a beach, lots of cool trucks to check out, friends to hang out with.
"Off roading" would be really boring too, if it didn't involve meeting people and socializing.

I have a backyard full of sheet metal that will get cut for street or off road.
