The antenna in the windshield had me picking up people from central Nevada. Not sure if I am transmitting to them though as nobody copied my call sign
I’ve not heard much about running the splitter to the windshield antenna.
Did you check the SWR and see what it’s pulling?

No I don’t have a meter anymore. It’s coming through loud and clear though. I’m waiting for the Stryker antenna and meter to show up.

Well got my pops to transmit to me to see how far I was transmitting. I was maybe transmitting 1.5miles from my dads location. So not very good with the windshield antenna. So I know those guys I was hearing from skip couldn’t hear my transmissions.
Spent the better parts of the weekend out in the shop finishing the body work on the tailgate and building a rolling stand and adjusting my horizontal band saw.
