Bad Mechanical Situation at work.

2 at the dealership I worked for that cleared 100, 3 that cleared 75, and 5 that cleared 50.

Let's see a shop manager make that kinda cash because of his "schooling background"





And that's 10 out of 17.

Yo Howdiy. As a master tech say you make 25 an hr . Then book 100 hr's.
25x100=2500. Now multiply that times 52 week's in a year bam 130,000.

Wow.

Now say 17 an hr x100 hr's=1700
88k wow.
And that is bookin 100 hr's .
 
I had a similar situation in my field. A company that I worked for was selling new equipment to folks by telling them that their (perfectly fixable) equipment was not repairable or condemned. I had heard rumors about it for a while. When I found out first hand, I cleaned out my truck and turned in my keys the next day. I would rather flip burgers somewhere than to be part of that kind of crap.

As stated earlier it is hard to book 100hrs a week and it's more like 70-80

I know mechanics down here don't make 80k-100k

I could see making 100k after you've been there for 25 years.
 
This is like saying engineers make 500k a year. Some do but the majority do not.
 
Listen to your conscience. Conscience mean " with Knowledge" It is a way that Jesus guides us, do whats right brother.

Ok and making 80k is a dead end job? Damn you must be making at least 250k then I guess. Point was simply that being a mechanic is not a dead end job. So before you start with the expodiarrhea you should really do your research.
