If they arnt this won't work correct?Look at the snap ring grooves on your output shaft and see if they are there or in the right spot for the tone ring.

If I'm up to speed, he sourced another case and is just trying to make it VSS. Meanwhile, he discovered that the shift linkage had separated, and the theory is that was the only problem with the T-case. Whether the banging damaged something inside is TBD.The original point was banging. Have you removed the tc to troubleshoot? Have you cracked it open?
No I have not that will happen soon. The mech worm gear fit perfectly when I removed this, the tone ring will fit. You still need the speedo and the connector between tc and speedo. The original point was banging. Have you removed the tc to troubleshoot? Have you cracked it open?
Correct some what. I still have the original np241 that is mechanical I want to swap parts to make it VSS, I don't think the banging damaged any thing inside. I think I heard the linking popping. I have a spare 27 spline 241 which needs a new 32 spline input. If I'm up to speed, he sourced another case and is just trying to make it VSS. I will look there.TorqueKing was the place I went to get the parts for my 241. They should have the all the bearings in addition to the shift fork pads and everything else.
I don't want to modify my drive shaft.aside from extra cost, was there another reason you didnt opt to go SYE on this case?
Grey, you need it?Curious what color is the worm gear you replaced? Original gearing?
No thanks. I'm probably gonna change mine also.Grey, you need it?
