BB15 event schedule

Actually
Any chance someone wants to do Hell's Revenge or Behind the Rocks on Wednesday? I would like to run Golden Spike and Steel Bender on the days those trails are offered.

Im game for either of those on wed,or the Moab rim, so many choices!!!!!!!

I talked with him last night and I think we are pretty set on Pritchett for Thursday. Would be cool to have you run it with us. I think we are planning to show up on Tuesday late afternoon/early evening and set things up, then hit Area BFE most of all Wednesday, then Pritchett Thursday, then whatever event runs we register for the rest of the days.

Good deal, looking forward to it.

So has it been mentioned and I missed it? What trail is the newbie run gonna be on?

From the schedule.......

Newby trail run
Meeting Time: 10:00AM
Meeting Place: Old City Park
TBD based on need

Thanks. Someday I'll have to check this forum on my computer rather than my phone, it's easier to keep up on the laptop.

I wanted to see what kind of crowd we have before choosing a trail. I've been leaning towards Metal Masher because it has a good mix of hard stuff with optional bypasses.

Really? I'm surprised. Although it seems like a lot of people are kinda blah about the trail, but I like it. It's pretty easy if you stick to the main course, but it can also be really challenging if you run the difficult optional obstacles. Plus it has one of those cool highway overlook lunch spots.

I like Metal Masher, it was the first trail I ever ran in Moab.

Me too, by accident. In '91 we got lost in the area and ended up on Metal Masher with a stock '82 S10 Blazer and a rental Ford Explorer. I remember a lot of frame dragging. The funnest part was going down Mirror Gulch.

Behind the rocks.

Since nobody has signed up for it, and I am supposed to lead it, I am up for behind the rocks any of those days. I will be there monday to monday again.
