BB19 Carnage thread

Bent a rear main leaf, broke a front main leaf, and blew up a CV on the rear drive shaft. Had spares so it wasn't that big a deal.

Chris made it home at 1AM this morning, his tow rig is in Flagstaff and he's trying to figure out how to get it home.

He thinks the blown turbo took out the engine too, so who knows what's salvageable.

The rig seems to have made it out without a scratch. 3rd year in a row. Bender’s rock solid

Just wanted to get in on the B talk

Chris was saying he was wanting a new tow rig on Saturday, I think this is just the excuse he needed. :doah:

So I had to deal with this a few times on Friday, tighten the bolt up, then look half hour later and it was loose again. Not sure what the issue is but I'll endeavor to find a solution. Perhaps it's just time to give up and sell it?

I also had to replace a fuel pump relay on Sunday 1 mile from putting it on the trailer to go home.

He works at ORD, they probably have 500 of those sitting in a pile somewhere.

Plus he can just sign his paycheck away for the next couple months and install a magnum/205 setup. Who needs to eat?

The first thing Sam (The wife) said was: "Why don't you put in a Magnum? People say those are good"
I'm going to take that as the go ahead. Probably happen over the winter with the motor swap.

I will add one more. Got home at 3:20pm today. Sat and caught up with Eileen and had dinner.

Unloaded the Jimmy. Kept turning passenger as I backed off of the semi and the Jimmy front end kept going passenger...??????

I think the bolt fell out on the highway. It is no where to be found. So the bottom round thingy is not attached to the top holder thingy. Not sure how @Bent77 and made it back. Could have been a bad night.20190910_183956.jpg 20190910_183950.jpg 20190910_184009.jpg

Dude we were scooting through the sand in the dark. We might still be barrel rolling if both of those failures hit at once
