Yeah we're shooting to be better quality for a super competitive price including the features others nickel and dime you for.

Another important point is that the table is a 5x5 footprint allowing full cut on a 4x4 sheet.

My machine should be routing in the next couple weeks up and coming. I'm expecting to be making a 1/16 width cut on a 3/8 thick piece of material spinning roughly 8000-10000 RPMS on the router moving somewhere in the 20-30 IPM range for a starte. I've still got chip load calculations to do but this will be with a 1/4in 3 flute carbide bit from lakeshore carbide. Routing is way more like high speed machining which im not super familiar with. Less material much more RPM much faster. But with a .0005 lash on the prototype table right now I have the upmost confidence in this thing routing.

20 - 30 IPM for 3/8" thick? Thats actually a lot quicker than I expected. On what material is that?

You say a 1/4" bit but only a 1/16" cut, is that an edge dress up cut or an actual cut? I can't imagine a 1/16" kerf through cut with 3/8" thick material being likely because the bit would be so thin it would snap off unless it was cutting wood or something, or am I wrong? I imagine the kerf being dependent on the material thickness which would drive the bit diameter.

So is this the same Vulcan manufacturing that has been making tables and the software for the HVAC sheetmetal industy for like 25+ years? That was the brand I learned on in school and worked with at the first couple of shops I worked at.

Congrats on your purchase. So, what's next in major tool investments for you?

Id really like to buy the Baliegh Magnetic Brake. Except I hate Baliegh for making most of their stuff in Taiwan or some bullshit. I will probably save up for the Roper Whitney Magnabend.

Got Sean's driver side door panel almost done. I want to do a deeper perimeter bead and a deeper bead around the quilt pattern. Then get a start on the passenger side. I spent over 4 hours on this between making a template from his panels, to cutting them out and rolling this one.

Which Sean is this? Z71? I may have missed some previous comments as I just went back and saw you worked things out with the Yellow truck girl...good for you btw.

Any way you could cut down the time investment and make them cost effective to sell?
