Here is another shitty video with shitty music ( I love crappy punk rock).

We have started to re organize the shop. It will be beneficial towards future builds to have everything moved from how it has been set up for 30 years.

Removed the old wood stove from the side room that has the air compressor. The shop is now natural gas heated due to the wood stove not being approved by insurance.

a clean shop / a flowing shop is a productive shop :deal:

and stuff on wheels makes for a more productive / free flowing shop. sience there easy to move when needed and out of the way when not .

I swear I replied to this the other day... My phone has been on the fritz...

But yeah I am finding that out. My table has shown me how much more productive and fast I can be with everything organized etc.

And yes, everything is on castors in the shop. And everything that is currently not, will be soon.

Got the shelves out of 2 old plumbing vans and got them put up against where the pipe rack used to be. Also along the other wall with the ones with pull out drawers.

Going to fill those with tabs, hardware, small fab parts etc.

Decent weekend. One more closer to having everything on wheels, and having better storage for everything.

Can store some extra sheet or expanded metal etc behind the cart. And shove the thing in the corner.

Then cleaned up this old bench that my grandpa put together back in the 60s or so. You always know when a bench was built by my grandpa because he welded vice bases to them instead of bolting.... Lol.

Anyways, this is going to be the bench specific for dirty work. Grinding, beating, etc. Going to add a sheetmetal back to the lower part, and then some 6" locking casters next weekend. It also needs an assortment of hammers and some other tools. But its a good start.

We were trying to figure out what to do with all the little chunks of tube you get after doing notches etc. Too small to put up on the pipe rack, but decent size that could be used for something later.... I found that this wire rack with some expanded metal on the bottom should work awesome. It allows you to throw them all in there, but actually be able to see through the bin.

It needed some dimples too....

You guys are hardcore dedicated to making sure this shop stays super functional. I dig it.

I keep meaning to sub this thread. Good work, shop is looking great and I dig the beadrolling!
