So I need some opinions...

Im thinking of ducting in that lower rear section of the "dirty bench". Put some furnace filters on the face and a fan behind it to keep the dust down in the shop for heavy grinding etc. Anybody know of some filters that would work that would be fire resistant?

And also tonight's progress....
Finally replaced the bungy chord on my tank to a chain, and spent a night cleaning my table from all the junk we piled on it these last few weeks.

Then I gave her a good coat of WD40 :pimp:

How's the Eastwood TIG perform? You didn't happen to buy the plasma cutter from them in the set did you? I'm wanting to grab an inexpensive TIG and my buddy wants a plasma we were thinking about getting the package deal and splitting the price.

It works good. The first pedal was junk but they sent me a new one no questions asked.

@jekquistk5 bought the plasma a few weeks back and really likes it.

I just grabbed the versacut 60 from them. It is awesome. It cuts just as good as a hypertherm, just the consumeables don't last as long. Suggest stocking up on electrodes and tips.

Thanks guys! That's the little extra boost of confidence I needed to go ahead and try out the Eastwood stuff

Only issue is they tend to backorder this stuff.

If they do, just bug customer service. My girl Sharon at Eastwood gets shit done :D

So, some of the gears for the table ended up on back order for a few weeks, but he got them in the other day and the build is back on track. Should be testing this week, and hopefully it will be in route the following week from NJ to MI..

BEEF is all that comes to mind when he sends me pics of this. I like that the table is just pure beef and not just a bunch of bolt together extrusion.

Is the plan to keep the table somewhat mobile?

I was hoping to. But after playing with it last night, it needs to be bolted down. The straight drive motors are so torqy that when it rapids, the thing shakes and moves around a lot.

Not that it's a bad thing at all, just didn't realize it would do it.

you need to change your thread title now!

Haha. All the tools!!!
