That help? To hopefully stop the sand from the space in between the doors and the floor.

Painted them blue because I had blue, and hopefully it blends in and makes them less noticeable.

There is about a 5" wide opening between the door and the floor tube. Instead of making a running board type of thing to block sand, I figured I would try this.

Its not as pretty, but people wont step on it.

I'm sure there's a learning curve on panel work....Knowing what you know now, how much less time would it take to make the exact same panels a second time?

I could probably cut the 24 hours down to 16-18 for the whole thing Id bet.

The straight edge panels go way faster. Trying to figure out curves to match the body lines was quite time consuming.

Getting paid tonight.

Already have a shopping cart ready to click checkout on ;)

I won't actually order it until the money is in the bank lol. Should be tonight.

A guy I know does some great aluminum welding with that welder, so for the price, I think its a good starting unit.

I was torn between the shrinker stretcher setup or this as my next purchase. But after making some mistakes this weekend that resulted in panels being scrap, that could have been repaired by welding, this has jumped to the front of my list.

I think the more you do the matching part will be quicker and easier.

Yay TIG! :saweet: :saweet:

Great work, Adam. It's amazing to watch the progression and see the end results. :thumb:

I don't know if this has come up yet but do you watch project binky on YouTube?
Their last episode has some cool beadwork in it, but more importantly is how he modifies his tools to work. You might get something out of it. (Also their fab table at the episode 1 is redonk)
