Made a custom radiator shroud for Brett's buggy to mount 2 14" fans on a 26" wide core radiator.

That's a great idea. I like the the fact the hot air goes out the side instead of right onto the fuel cell ( Or in my case the propane tanks ) I'm curious to see if having a big void between the fans and the radiator will effect how much the fans pull?
I might have to steal this......Of coarse my will look a whole lot more hacked.:D

I made a heat shield that goes between the tank and the fans. It gives a half inch air gap between the shield and the tank.

He went up Sunday to the dunes and sounds like he beat the snot out of it the whole time and never had an overheating issue.

So hoping that solved it.

The shroud being tapered like that will flow air better over the entire radiator than a flat shroud. Fans sitting flat on a radiator leave flat areas behind the radiator that don't flow air.

Adams design is perfect for optimum flow.

That was kind of our hope.

It may actually get a chance to pull air through all the corners better than a fan mounted an inch away.

Protects the metal and makes it easier to clean.

I meant as opposed to like a cool color like anodized red that would match his wheels.
Excellent work, as always. :bow:

Does the powder coating interfere with your cool stamp?

If he doesn't put it on too thick you can still read it actually.

I like the triangulated radiator shroud with big fans, you usually don't have room to do that, looks real good and should help a lot with airflow, which always seems difficult when the radiator isn't in the front. Nice work! You are doing some cool work with the truck too, it seems like you keep developing your skilz and are doing fantastic Adam, I applaud you. :waytogo: :saweet:

@Deuling just a hint of advice .

anti-seize them licence plate bolts . take this from a guy who has to remove plate a lot . they seize up fast in metal on metal style attachment . . . mostly European style designed cars do this crap .

otherwise great use of riv-nuts inserts .

That's a sick truck. And bad ass work brother. Its insane the hours it takes to accomplish that type of work. Most have no clue. Other then those on the know. I haven't ordered a bead roller yet, but its still a major on the wish list. I've gotten half my machine shop equipment hooked up. Getting things powered and functional and operating is current priority, but honestly can't wait to be doing some bead rolling work. I love artwork aspect of it.
