Is there going to come a point where you stop working and start just doing your dream? Or will that take away the fun?

ya DO NOT EVER let it get to the fun is gone point .

Shannon and I filed for a domestic partnership because her employer allows that to get health care for me.

Which means I can go part time and eventually quit the day gig without having to wait a year until we get married for healthcare. (No way I’m going to try this without insurance)

I think I’m too addicted to this stuff for it to take away the fun. I think I’m the best version of myself in the shop for some reason. I find it almost relaxing and I love making people happy. So hopefully the joy never goes away.

Plus I get to crank tunes all day long and that’s just always nice. Can’t do that at my stupid desk lol.

:waytogo: On everything Adam!

Thanks dooood!!!

I figured based on all your work lately it was going to take over soon. You’re just doing too good not to pursue it.

I’m gonna miss the days when you were just our little skinny jean internet friend and not a metalworking god among men.

That's what they say, But that is wrong.

Do what you are good and your work will be easy. Your hobby should be what you enjoy. His hobby is wheeling in the sand. He is good at fabrication stuff, so work will be easy. And not suck as bad as a desk job.

And yeah as weird as it sounds I don’t even care much for doing offroad fab to make a living. That stuffs more fun for me.

Hell I’d be a happy dude if I could make stuff like the air tool racks all day long with a mix of random one off jobs to select from.

I’ve really been digging these prototype jobs for some of the bigger company’s. That’s the work that keeps you challenged to do quickly.

But I’d love to get a contract with like summit to order 10,000 or something and just do it.

Sounds boring but when you do it for yourself repetitive work seems less boring than doing it at work for someone else.

you guys know how most businesses have the dollar bill in glass for there first dollar thay made . . . . . he needs his first thing to be a pressed pair of tight blue jeans . :rotfl::haha:

I wear black skinny jeans mostly these days :haha:

Good choice about the insurance part

Also that new Miller multi process should be ordered here soon :)

@folkenheath don't even gotta touch the machine to swap from MIG to TIG..... :boner:

Hold mig trigger for 3 seconds and machine swaps to MIG.
Hold tig pedal for 3 seconds and machine turns to TIG.
Otherwise it remembers whichever one you were using last.

He said no wire loss or gas loss in the process.

Now that's finally an true all in one, it actually has AC TIG and the final question after I heard your comment above, it does have two tank connections, so you don't even have to swap tanks...and Miller is Made in WI, USA, a win for everyone..:saweet:
