I wasn't a fan of putting the high beam in the DIY location, so I used one of two bulb holes in the back of the speedo for a brighter blue LED. All the gauges have a "cool white" LED bulb in them. I'll try to get some pictures tonight.

. Gauges look pretty bling to
funny, when I bought the truck it didn't have any gauges. Drove it home 350 miles like that and then months afterLooks awesome. Let us know if it can bury the needle on 120 mph.![]()
My friend in the chase truck said I hit 90 a few times. It's easy and the truck drives so nice and straight. 120 will be interesting

Kinda happy with the way things have come out. I got rid of the exhaust leak and weird noise on the firewall. Truck runs good, but the carb and dizzy are off. That's my next plan of action. The dizzy is set on the slowest advance curve and tops out at only 28* total. I also got the rest of the floor covered in bedliner rubber, WAAAY quieter than bare floor pan. It will remain like this until I can afford LineX, but the rubber would go over that anyway.

Time to party!
Stuff like that must keep you on your toes and make you a better mechanic. Heck, my truck doesn't even have cats on it and it's all I can do just to keep it running.
