BENDER stays in hibernation with me

The spot welds are all breaking where the inner "roll bar" is in the roof. The damn thing taps all day inside there. Also got some new cracks showing. I wonder what the hidden cracks all look like :doah:Gotta get that cage in there to stop it from getting worse.

Stop drill the cracks to keep them from growing.

I use the Fast efi fan control to keep the fans on all the time or raise the temp to keep them from coming on

Not sure what to do with this new gap though. I had 1" BL pucks here but the bumper was made, I believe, with the BL built in. Not sure if I should shim or suck it down. Or, if I'm mistaken and somehow I need to get my BL pucks back in :what:

Oh nice. This thread is back alive.

Two things

1) that other truck has taken all my time and funds. The front end stuff is still fuked up but I needed some time away from it.

2) Moab is coming up, quick enough. I want to move the rear axle back by flipping my 56" springs. I also want to finish the cage forward, mostly to stop things from cracking and keep my doors from binding. So it will go through the dash, firewall, and connect to the shock hoops. I don't see how I'm going to get though to the front bumper, I'm using all the core support space for vital things.

Need to finish pulling DIY4x dash out, for cage work. Need to continue cleaning up the wiring also.

the body mounts are not adjusted for any sort of body lift.

When we adjust for a body lift, basically we are making the front or face of the bumper 1" higher to compensate for your body being higher from a body lift. The body mounts are left in stock location.

Suck it down, maybe throw on some new body mounts and a good portion of that would be gone. Couple shims if need be.

ekk, then the 1" puck should still fit in there. Damn, the other side is even closer. Sounds like I need to jack the core support up and put my pucks back in. :eek1:

Ooooohh lordie does it feel good to see a bumper and grill on this thing again. I've only driven this thing once since BB15 IIRC. Got rid of the bumper and it's just mainly sat :( It will get tube outriggers and a stinger much like I used to have. It's much stronger and closer to the grill than the old one, should help with approach angle.
