Black and Blue '71 build

They are one piece. Never understood spit ones. Yeah one piece inserts are a bitch to put in but its not that bad

I had a harder time getting the new insert to open up to get it over the back part of the h1 than I did getting the 3 old ones in and mounted.

I could see having a relief cut like the one that billavista used in the H1 bible over on pirate to ease the removal process but Id have to say that the way this new one works is kinda a pain

Hope these work

I did the .20g ones so i had to use less. They were quite loud when wheeling, ask mike :haha:

Like:

*TINK*taTINK*TINK-TINK*TINK,... :haha::haha::haha:

I almost thought that air soft bb balancing,
was a sick joke someone was playing on you guys. :haha:

Like, balance yer tires with air soft ammo.... Amuse the hell outta yer friends! :thumb:

I was hoping to find one that weighed more so I didnt have to use alot but this was all wally world had

Hopefully their not too loud

Hopefully :haha:

So I measured my insert that I got and its 1/4" too narrow.
I measured the TrailWorthy ones and they were 6.75" and worked perfect with my swampers.
So I have to go swap out the narrow insert for the right one.....then I can attempt to balance then :doah:

Also heres a pic of the gap that the insert makes when slipped over the back portion of the rim

I can almost guarantee that that gap is causing your issue. Do you have the same size gap on the other side of the wheel? If not, could you "even out" the gaps to both sides of the wheel?

Think about how big the weights are on your wife's, (or girlfriend's, whatever), wheels for balancing. One or two ounces, (or fractions thereof), can mean the difference between teeth rattling on the highway or smooth as glass cruising. You're wheel having that much of a gap would DEFINITELY cause some issues. PLUS, let's imagine that you have a tire that isn't perfectly consistent throughout it's circumference, (I know that is hard to imagine, ;) ), and that you get the "heavy" side opposite of this gap.

Let's just say it would be noticeable.

Just my .02 cents.

Buddy

Got some stuff done while waiting to see if my insert will be ready to exchange.
Got the diff covers swapped

I've decided a giant, retarded-huge, bumper is what I want... :haha:

I'm gonna have mike (k5cj5) bend me up a cage-base, and some other stuff.
I saved about $1000 not having to fix my smog chit.
So, I think it's time to get some tube into this pig.

I think I've pushed my luck enough times, in this Beast.
Almost flopped it 3 times, nearly rolled twice, and I love doing donuts...
my center of gravity does not. :D

Yea...you need something :haha:
Im pretty sure ive seen you almost roll/flop atleast twice lol

As for your front bumper...its gotta match your rear one...big and Heavy looking! :haha:
