Blazer Bash 2011: 4-day "Schedule of Events"

Yes, and we'll probably split it into 2 classes, with & without doublers.

bah, should be one class, let the none doubled suffer with their choices

Im going to have to put in my 5:13 now

I can set my rig up however I want for slow race and as long as I am not putting my foot on brake pedal its all that matters? Can I compete in doubler class and reg class with one case in hi?

can we compete in the single transfer case class and not use our doubler? :D

Edit: looks we posted at same time.

Good grief, I didn't think I was going to have to craft a rule book for the slow-drags. :doah:

you only get to enter in 1 class, take your pick. :doah::D

You guys are girls this is a slow RACE. Use everything you can brake,:woot: doubler anything to make you go slower. If you stall the engine you are out, your rig stops moving forward you are out. Slowest one wins.

Hmmmmmm so now I have a CO2 tank I am thinking most of the air out of my tires (I am going to need a WIDE lane) and foot on the brake. I am so going to win this

The rules for the one I did were no brakes of ANY kind and straight line. Tire pressure and engine idle could be whatever. My opinion is if you have a doubler, that's the class you're in. Then there's no question about whether or not it was in use.

I like Mrk5 rules instead of all your guy's tom foolery! Just see who has the lowest gearing!! :D No line locks or cutting brakes!!
But rubbings racing is ok by me..

I may have the budget rig done by then 5.38s ! I think a good ol fashond bumper pull mite be fun to .

I thought we proved that you have the fatest ass and most pull on Pritchett a few years ago. You just want an ego boost again :flipoff7:

We would be hard pressed to put enough vehicles together to out pull the cummins.:doah:

Any chance of a Rusty Nail loop during the trifecta for one of the groups? I have only seen pics so I don't know if it adds some distance or much else about it. Just looks like fun.

we have 4 if not 5 rigs that would run the Rusty Loop, so if anybody else wants to run with us can we add this to the list with a limited number of rigs?

The Rusty Nail is more of an optional loop of Golden Spike than it’s own trail but we’ll go ahead and call it a trail. This relatively new road is a great alternative to the bumpy and sometimes annoyingly-rough Gold Bar Rim section of Golden Spike. The Nail is also not for the faint of heart or those with a fear of heights. It has a cliffhanging section that, although pretty safe, looks like you could fall off of a several hundred foot cliff at any minute. There is a 100 yard section right after that that is an off camber lean to the cliff side that you’ll want to pay close attention to while navigating it. You can breathe a sigh of relief once you touch down on the hard, flat rock and join back up with he Golden Spike trail which ends up very close to the Golden Crack.

I wont be running that

We can't officially run Rusty Nail because it's not one of the designated Jeep Safari routes. We are only allowed to run those routes through the BLM SRP (Special Recreation Permit). So these are the trails we can offer as part of the event: http://www.rr4w.com/trails
