Blazer Bash 2011: 4-day "Schedule of Events"

Wait? That is a tight trail to you guys? :D Man... Canadian wheeling is such a different ball game, LOL! Tight for me is when my sheet metal isn't strong enough to part the trees wide enough to squeeze through...

At what time in the video was the skinny spot? I kinda skipped around. Doesn't look too bad at all.

Yah that didn't look tight at all. Of course I may have a different view of tight than others

Tight, yes. Dooable with a Blazer, yes. Rearrange some sheet metal, yes. Loose another driverside tail light, yes. LETS GO! What's some more rock rash and scrapes?

Yeah, it looks like it might be a glass and fiberglass top breaker. Tyron, you need to get Tom to check it out at EJS....

Looks like this will be a great Blazer Bash. I would love to test out my 78 on the RTI ramp; I have never done it before.

Since this will be my first Blazer Bash maybe someone can answers a few questions for me:

When will registration begin?

When we register, do we pick what trails we would like to run from the list?

What is the maximum number of vehicles allowed in a party?

I can't wait....should be a great time :woot::woot::woot:

Hope to have registration open by the end of April. It will be through the blazerbash.com website.

Yes, you will pick you trails from the list when you register.

We will probably only limit the Trifecta (Golden Spike) & Pritchett Canyon trail runs. Haven't determined the exact cutoff yet, but probably somewhere around 10. That's part of the reason for offering Pritchett on 2 days.

Sweet just reserved one of the cabins at Moab Valley RV, now all I have to do is register, I was going to try and make it in 09 but things did not work out. My girl friend and I will be heading up on Wednesday from Denver it will be my first time wheeling in Moab. Looking forward to wheeling with everybody.

Don't want to be that guy

After inspecting the Blazer I found a crack at the rear of the case of my TH 400...by the tail shaft section where the spedo would connect to the tranny. I figured that it was no big deal and I have whelled it like that for a year now :sign7:. But I don't want to spend the time and money driving to Moab just to have the case totaly split on the trail making me "that guy". So I will be pulling the tranny out next weekend. I already have another case, so my tranny inards can go into the new/good case. Hopefully that is all I find wrong. :D

The tranny shop that origanly built the tranny only wants $300 bucks to change it for me.

I replaced the SM465 with the TH400 and put a 203/205 doubler in it last year and noticed a red spot under the Blazer shortly after that. Don't know if the case was cracked already or if I did trying out the doubler .

Either way it will be fixed before Moab :D.

I spoke with Stephen at ORD and he suggests new motor monts to prevent it from happining again.
