Blazer Bash 2020 last minute thrash

I tried the $100 bill special trick and that made it worse. Kinda strange. They have been jamming shops up today for masks in the area, might have had a bad day?
Same problem here. And I knew it would be. I had to mount them myself. Bead locks are no big deal to mount. Once mounted, I took them to the tire shop to balance. They had no problem with that part.

- Got my balance beads to put in.
- Took CO2 tank to get re-certified and found a place to fill it cheaper when I get it back.
- Going to a friends to do some welding and metal work and stuff.
- Adjusting shifter linkage.
- odds and ends and whatever rears its ugly head.

I’ve gotta get my CO2 tank re-certified and filled sometime.

I took the tank to General Air at 1095 Zuni for the re-cert they send it off and it takes a week, then to fill it Way to Grow at 301 57th Avenue is supposed to be cheap, I will post prices when I am done.

General Air looks like a cool store for welding goods!!

@70jimmy Which balance beads did you end up getting?

I went with EZ tire Beads, I got 4 14 oz bags and installation kit so I could go through the valve stem for $77.00 delivered I did pay a few dollars like 6 for faster delivery. My tires are old but out of balance and figured it was a good time to try them since I haven't done tire balance beads before. The EZ site says 10 ounce per my 37's. The kind Mr. K5 just put in they say 14 oz per tire so Not sure how much I will put in?

I’ve been using 8 oz for years, on set #4 mounting and balancing my own.
But I use actual double B

I think I put in 10oz. of Counteract in my 40’s. Feels pretty smooth down the highway. We put 8 or 10 oz in my brothers Chinese 35’s and they shook like crazy. Seemed more like a crappy tire than a balance thing though. Now he has 37” nittos and smooth as ever.
Haha, I thought this was the tire thread lol

The tire shop guys were surprised it said 14oz. FWIW I think we put 12oz in Nick's 40s.

It is today!

I ran 14oz in my 40's. In my 42's I put the ones from the other tires in there (what didn't spill on the floor), and then threw in a handfull more. I just run airsoft BB's. Nice and smooth at speed.
