I just saw that our county fair is back on here. Things have been changing daily in my part of Utah. I will watch and see but I bet the vendor food thing is no big issue at all so i would see no problem in doing a BBQ at an event like this.

Man this sucks to hear. The stuff that goes on behind the scenes has to be maddening. Wade and Mark, you guys rock for dealing with it for sure.
I'm sure having full size invasion piggy back immediately after BB has created more interest than normal to pump up who wants to come that aren't the CK5/BB normal crowd. Not that new people aren't welcome, but that a higher number of people adds more stress on this odd year with all the extra requirements.
I totally want to go, but with the truck torn apart I can't guarantee to myself that I'd be done and proven in time to go. So adding myself to the list that would come and then back out at the last minute just adds to the crap you guys have to deal with. Put me down for a shirt if you guys need to sell publicly to help defray costs though.

Major parts orders are to arrive today and into next week. I need to get the pedals swapped and seats/console pulled and it will be ready to go to Larry's. That's this weekend's project.
I've got to put some serious road miles on before it leaves town for sure. Time will tell.

Moab city parks director just called. The city personnel has given the go ahead with a Covid plan in place. We will be the first group doing an event with over 50 people on city property.
I asked if they are giving the info I provided for hosting larger groups to the other events? They had not thought of that. I said "don't".
I have to have an ingress/egress plan in place. Cones and signage and guides for where to do what.
We will make this happen.

My only requirement for the BBQ this year is to participate in the raffle. When I was in your position I didn't feel it was right to put tickets in for me. I don't feel that way this year.
I do not see why you would not participate. Even Mark does. Amber would not pull tickets on the stuff Brent went for. I think we are all good about this stuff.
We have also decided to stop the ticket placement a little before and pull the tickets prior to the raffle. We will need to make it move faster as Dinner will take longer to serve.

Hmmm, with all of the cancellations this could be the most open BB ever!
One of he reasons it has been done on this same weekend every year is how dormant the city is. The last couple of years Moab has been busier.
We were having an issue with not being able to offer an alternative splitting Copper Canyon and Golden Spike with the golf carts using all of the other trails. Not anymore.

For us as a group it's a good thing to have the trails open and clear. I love that. The negative side is that the people who want off road events to go away will more than likely champion this to their advantage.
