The cords make for great traction.
Truth be told, it's proof how much grip the Moab rocks have.
A/C worked great all weekend. Had a little slip up on Hells Gate. Bumper took most of it, but flattened my oem chrome, and damaged my new tail light that I put on a week ago. Also had a spring bolt get loose, but no other problems.

I blew both front shocks, the ride home it was grabbing every crevice in the road and at least 3 bounces for every dip, no shock absorption at all in the front.
I also have some side to side play in the pinion yoke on the rear end and the rear output of the 205. Makes a slight vibration and noise on deceleration, I will have to investigate those further. Got home last night at 9pm. Had to stop in Georgetown and put on more clothes, roll up the windows, close the vents and run the heater. It was 38 degrees farenheit when I left for work at 6:45.

Stopped to pay the toll at a booth in Indiana, put a $20 in, took my change and pulled away…apparently the gate is only set to allow a truck and not a trailer, so now the gate is beside the booth instead of attached to it.
Does that mean no toll for everyone after you?

Welp that's nasty. Ripped the brushes out of fan 2 and fan 1 brushes are locked in place and chewed at the edge. Complete Spal fan failure.

They are genuine. Got some more info I'm going to post in my build thread later tonight. Theres no fault here to be had by Spal, and realistically they are badass fans. But we do beat them hard. Is it aliens, or vortex, or some years of use and extreme vibration.
You should get an I-pass that cuts toll fees in half all over the midwest and east coast.

Like rally mode for every trail I've hit for years..lol. I think the couple of waterfall drops earlier this season put the nail in the coffin.
Nah, I think its a combination of service life and vibration or else the class 1 trucks and KOH 4400 class running the Ron Davis 4043 would have switched. I'm looking at a pic right now of Wayland's 3aZ car with the va33 on what looks like a slightly modified RD4043.
Realistically what I run them through is less vibration than 100mph whoops. But I'm sure I've run them way longer than those guys. In fact, kartek laughed at the service time. Haha.
Somebody needs to step up and say the service interval in a race environment if not swapped every race. Chances are this is where I blew it. Gotta pay to play.
I have always said "you pay with time, or money". Maintenance time or money for replacement.
After unloading and driving the truck today I noticed my steering wheel is now upside down going straight, and I seem to have better radius to the right than left, tie rod and drag link aren’t bent so I’ll need to investigate that further tonight
That's how mine started then I figured out it was the steering Box. No longer connected to the frame.
I’m planning on pulling the box tonight and checking the frame, it could be the box itself, as far as I know it’s original to the truck
Check the leaf spring center pin too.
