That was my initial thought, just build it up to cover the shock tower. This would let me be able to get in the door as stock and stand up like you're saying. I'm thinking it would workout great because it's just to stay dry and warm. I would be able to build around the towers and still have a decent storage area with the cab over bed.
Is the heater assembly also in the rear of the camper?
* Shock towers only go back as far as the wheel wheels and about 6-8" higher.
I'm thinking this is better than buying a suburban and starting all over. I don't think my wallet can handle it. I also can't bring myself to run anything besides the Gen 5 or similar now that I have one.
