The finned ones that I have hit the rocker arms when I set them on the head. The black ones that I also have are tall so they aren't an issue.
They are steel though.
Got some work done today
Have to figure out where to mount the line lock and the proportioning valve.
conquered a fear yesterday, yeah me. Never had done double flare brake lines ever like really ever. Finally said it isn't going to get itself done alone so went to it. Got three done and have three more left. So the line lock is mounted and the prop valve and three lines are bent.
Looking mighty fine.

Bit of a update.
Motor and trans are in.
Only had to do it twice, torque convertor was not seated all the way the first time.
Going to be like this for awhile need to get the 1ton done, weather is nice so time to work out side.

Been looking for some dollies to be able to move her around @AgDieseler has these I kind of like them Beck is a cool guy but they are a bit pricey IMO

I've used my HF ones to move a bunch of crap.
Lay a 2x4 chunk in the wheel dip, through a cut to size piece of plywood in the recess of the flat parts and you have flat dollies too.
Just looked and it looks like HF doesn't have the same ones anymore
Mine are like this, but have a raised lip at each end making it perfect to lay the plywood in and it can't go anywhere

I want something that doesn't use the wheels so I can take them off.
F that buy a plasma cutter and cut you own plates, get the HF casters ( same quality as linked) build your own. Can buy a nice plasma cutter for the price of 4 of those.
