Well yesterday was one of the seven hour days that I got half of something done. Got the steering box in still need to put the A/C and PS pump back on but the new box is in.

nice project and progress
Nice find on the 56 i think i will do the same so i can get everything set up and then installl the offsets later.
How long are the shackles bolt hole to bolt hole and did you make them

The shackles are 7.50 eye to eye was going to order them from the advertiser's on here but didn't want to wait for the shipping. I had a local company build them Ben Hanks Racing, same price as the advertisers here just about a 40 min drive away.

Got the steering arm put in on Saturday as well as the brake lines which are too short so need new ones. My steering box will move my whole front end pretty easily fom side to side once it hits the stops so it looks like I'm doing a track bar

See look, you are almost ready for BB, but you haven't used any slave labor yet. Let me know if you want/need some help.

Well this week I have to pull the gas tank, bumper, hitch, rear axle, spring mounts, and probably the exhaust. Then put on the disc brakes, traction bar and weld the pumpkin of the 14 bolt. Then move the perches and mounts and get the new springs in and then the axle. All by Saturday cuz next week its the T-cases and shifters and driveshafts.

Ok, so when do you want me to come up and give you a hand? I probably need to head up that way, since I left my jack in the trailer up the canyon, and I need to do brake work on the Blazer.

you boys need to go to bed if your gonna get any work done on that thing

Progress for today, well yesterday

got the bumper, hitch, gas tank, and rear axle out also got the spare tire well out

been trying to figure out if i can keep my rear air looks like I'm going to make it work somehow. Also have pictures of my PS set up and my steering arm that is wrong :D

Plan for today is springs out, rivets torched and new mounts in :D probably have to do the exhaust too

need to build a piece of sheet metal to fit where the spare well was think I'm going to do a battery box and a place for some ammo boxes

Well go the old mounts all out and all but 8 rivets done got the exhaust removed that was in the way and the steering arm put in the right spot. Not all that I wanted to do but getting there.

Tomorrow weld the tubes on the 14 bolt drill out the eight rivets and put the mounts back on. might even get the detroit put in but we will see

Got the rear end welded, and all but four holes/rivets drilled yeah fun times. Ran into a snafu but hope it gets unfued today.

Might get to start on the T-case today/tomorrow

I got the stuff to fix the snafu just didn't get any work done on the truck but have all day tomorrow. So springs in and rear in tomorrow and it sitting on its own weight, got to see if it sits level
