Then line melted on me because the hose clamp that was holding it got to hot and melted the line. I think at the front it may be far enough away to not be a issue. It it is i will end up doing something like the piece of wood or something. Don't like that I had to splice the line as it is, dont want another splice.

I used Scotts method with a cut off wheel to just slice into the head a couple times (makes it look like a big Philips screw head when done) and then a couple blows with a cold chisel and a hammer knocks the head right off. Then just tap the rivet out. Should be fine near fuel lines, unless the rivet heads are on the inside of the frame.

Kind of a fan of the torch 30 seconds had all four rivets done.

Did some work on the seat mounts tonight. Going to be able to get three of the bars in tomorrow. Also going to try and get the last three stringers in now that the floor doesn't need much support any more.
Got looking at it and was going to have to pretty much cut the whole length of the tube in the floor plan to get it to fit. Figured it was easier to just take the section of floor out.
Both of the rear ones will be above the floor that is left so that is not an issue.
Have to buy a sheet of 22 gauge or something anyway to fill in by the sliders figure I will have a bunch left over to do the space under the front seats.

So got some work done it it today a lot more then I thought I was going to.

Added some tube to the front temporarily to keep the firewall from flopping around.
Got both rear seat bars and the seat tabs tacked in. Had to modify the old seat mounts that were angle iron. Basically turned them into tabs like you would find on a aftermarket seat.
Got two more stringers in so only have one left to do.
Got one of the front seat tubes tacked in. Have to bend the other to go around the t-case.
Welded the floor pan to the frame seems to work rather well. Made the space from the front seat rear tube to the floor a lot smaller going to be easier to put in a piece of steel.

Found a bit of an issue, my transfer case bushing has fallen out and is shot so looks like I get to pull the skid plate and redo the mount.

Are you keeping that rear section of floor? Why not just go to a flat plate floor and just keep what you need for the firewall and front seat floor.

Yeah I'm keeping it. Mainly because it is there and basically flat.

Lots of cons (mostly broken drivetrain parts) and not many pros, I'd keep something at least a little squishy in there

So got all the stringers in. Six a side. Cut out a bit more of the front floor.

Planning on working on the forward front seat mount this week. Once that is done going to start on the floor. Got to find a place locally to buy the steel for the floor.

Eric is soposto be down next week then we can get the rest of the cage done.

Then it is onto putting on body panels.

Sort of planning on having it done for Full Size Invasion, but well see.

So got the last seat bar in and even got the driver side seat mounts tacked in.

Ended up making the center out of square tubing so I have a place to mount the boots for the shifters and well as the center console. Turned out rather well I think.
Still have to mount the passenger seat mounts. Then finish weld all the mounts and seat bars. Then mount tabs for the seat belts for all four seats, Then start on the floor. Not to worried about getting the floor in before the cage so not a real rush on that.

Going to build or buy a pedal or brace or some thing for my left foot. Have a stringer where I use to put my foot so need to get something else.
