Blazer's 85 Suburban "Twinkie"

Wow, that is going to be sweet. I think I have seen that thing when I have been up there. Have family in West Weber, Roy, Ogden, well pretty much everywhere up there. But I know that I have seen that Burb of yours, can't wait to see it finished up. If you need any help let me know and I can probably get some time to come up and help out. Usually come up camping up Ogden canyon.

Yeah the first is for sale still, this has been the easiest build yet that I have done drive to Portland drive home with Burb.:D :D

Well after BB 07 trip the decision was made to make a Suburban buggy that is still street legal. My goal is to copy some of the things that Clod King has done with his. Some of the cage designs from Cousin Willard, and some of the body and cage ideas from Wllyswanter

So I started the build here is some of the stuff already bought for it
The rear springs I got yesterday 63in brand new only have about 250 miles
The drive shafts were for my Blazer need to get them lengthened and going longer splines in the front

well I have pictures of the stuff and work i did but it seems to not be working

Are you going to cut the whole back half off?

I think I'm just going to bob the rear and chop the top for now. And weld on a truck back to seal it up.

I want to do this to my burb but have to finish several other projects first.

At first I thought you were cutting up the nice clean one... I got worried. I don't know how I got confused...:haha:

Looking good though!:waytogo:

I'm gonna tell this right up front...

Chopping up a burb is WAYYYYY to much fun.

Just keep on working on it. Mine is taking so long because I am a lazy idiot....

I can't wait to see what you come up with.
