Blazer's 85 Suburban "Twinkie"

So drove down to the farm store to get some nuts and bolts, died on the way.

Drove the rest of the way and home with out any issues, after letting it sit for a few minutes.

Drove back to the farm store because I needed a piece of steel.

Died at the end of my street on the way back. Pulled out the multi-meter to see if the pump had power, muti-meter is broke. So neighbor pulled me the 1/4 mile home. Started right up when I went to check it with the not broke multi-meter.

So .... put in the new relay ran it for a long time and took it for a drive no issues.

Not sure that it is fixed :dunno: Pump sounds louder now, not sure if that means anything.

So maybe it was a not-quite-failed relay. Worked just enough not to be the obvious problem.

So took it to work again today and gave one of the mechanic's a ride around after work, and drove home.

No issues.

Lays down a bit around 3500 or so RPM, need to figure out that but no other issues.

The tune is not right it, does the lay down part, Got to figure out why. The computer only has a red or green light telling me it is higher or lower then 14.7 but not what it is.

and the locker is in the plan. Have to get that promotion first.

Made the spiff bonus this last month so that is for sure going to help.

This thing is sweet!! Saw it driving down the road a week or 2 ago, couldn't not smile! Ha Good luck with the tune. If you ever need any help let me know!

Spent last night dodging thunder storms working my butt off.

End result :waytogo:

Not more covering it with a tarp and truck cover. No more boxes on the seat to keep the neighbors cat off of them. :woot:

I am debating on cutting the insulation out of the sides though, It is a bit of a tight fit.
