Blazer's 85 Suburban "Twinkie"

So Eric came down to bend some tube. Got a bunch of figuring out, figured out and only a few pieces of tube bent. Somebody had to buy a car, 8 snow tires, four rims and got kidney stones. Then it also rained. So a lot of time spent not bending tube. It is a start though.

I have the whole drivers side floor to finish. Which is going to be next so my neighbor can get his plasma cutter back. Also want to do a left foot pedal / brace something to be able to push my foot against to help keep me in the seat with out holding on to the steering wheel. Going to get the B/C roof bars cut and tacked in. The front seat, seat belt bar is going to be a fun thing to do. As well as the X brace of sorts supporting the B pillar.

I need to redo my fuel filler neck it leaks when you put fuel into it.

Ugh still hurting.

But no sleep ing means thinking.

We are gonna redo the 2 front down bars

Don't weld em to anything.

it's looking good, how many can you seat?
It seats 5.

With less ammo cans you could probably do 2 smaller buckets in back or if you had the right bench seats I bet you could do 3 in the middle row and 2 in the back

Spent the morning running around fixing phones and I-pads. Really impressed with the service that I got at the Apple store, and I am not a fan of Apple. My switch now though.

So go home about three and went to work on the truck. Got done around 930 very productive day.

The floor is done more or less. The center section is going to be able to be removed, a bit more work still to do on that but it is all cut and tacked together.

Have to finish welding basically the drivers side. Then make a left foot pedal. Then figure out what to do for the piece over top of the shifters.

Thanks

So got some more of the floor welded in well pretty much all of it. Got the center section welded and set up to make some tabs so it will be able to bolt in and unbolt out.
Trying to figure out what to do with the shifter boot area. I want to make it removable also. Put a square tube frame around where I have to mount the boots just not sure on how to attach them yet.
