Blazer's 85 Suburban "Twinkie"

I have seen some use u or j bolts to lock the 2 together. but I guess welds could be ground off just as easy.

These are made by Beck Herring, former member, ORD employee, and bad influence on me at Blazer Bash for a number of years. (He would say I'm a bad influence on him, so fair trade) My mom used to say the three B's were a bad deal, Beck, Brandon, and Booze. She wasn't and isn't wrong.

Did some work on Saturday.

Now trying to figure out a way to cut the Styrofoam without a saw, way to much of a mess, without a razor knife, same story to much mess., got little white pieces of Styrofoam everywhere outside and some in side too. Have a hobby cutter which does a great nice clean job just takes a long time.

Top off all the side walls are done. The back wall behind the Nova is done. Just have to finish the end walls.

So I ended up useing all of the 2in thick sheets, all 24 of them for the walls.

Then got another bunk of 1.5 inch sheets.
The side walls and non door end are done in 2 in.
Above the bay door is done with 1.5 .
So I am thinking that the whole shop is insulated and done.
I also got my signed, by Michael Waltrip, Nascar tire put up.

So been a bit since I have done an update

Got a new driveshaft from Tom Woods, got my old slip yoke as a spare and a whole new one. The new one is 1350 U-joints too.

Front U-joint is a offset one to on the new one to hopefully fix what the old yoke looks like.

Im running offset joints on my k5 front shaft.
They are doing great, you just cant go fast with them or they vibrate.
