Both of these tops are designed to use the big rear window, or a slider. The blazer sport top uses the cheaper of the two side window weatherstrips in the LMC catalog and a half round front seal .
A semi permanent rear cab lower wall bolts in and a scilicone gasket is made to seal the bottom by.
. Install the lower wall to mark the floor with masking tape.
. pull wall out and wipe car wax on the floor a few times wiping off each time.
wipe a third coat of wax on and leave--Reinstall the wall -left unbolted and propped up about the thickness of a buisness card--and pump in rtv scilicone. pull cards and bolt in place and carefully drag a clean fillet on each side with a putty knife. allow the scilicone to set up thouroughlt 24 hrs. when yo try pulling the wall next time it will pull clean because you released it with wax--leaves a perfect seal.

Took the halfcab kit in to get Bedliner sprayed on

Its done but I haven't had a chance to pick it up yet, as I have no truck :doah:(I'm having the wheel joints replaced and bearings repacked -steering wobble issue). I hope to be able to pick it up today after the truck is done.

Maybe you guys can help me finish this thing:

- I need weatherstripping to cover the gaps (see pictures in my last post) and keep the water out

- There are 4 smaller pieces that I have no idea what they are for...

...see pictured here:

those 2 longer ones bolt to the sides of the main bulkhead with the bolt holes facing forward. they should have weather strip between the them and the bulk head, and between them and the "b" pillar. they seal that part off. mine has "camper tape" but its more like 1/4" thick. not as thick as the gap you have.

i had to bolt the upper piece on. then bolt the lower piece to it. then adjust the side pieces to seal a bit. but it still doesnt fit all that well.

mine is a bit different, but im cutting that whole lower piece off and modding it so it seals. it has to seal on my truck as its my snow wheeler,im tired of exhaust fumes in the cab and now my fuel tank is against the bulkhead.

i dont have any installed pics yet. maybe this weekend.

also if somebody makes this again. please, please make the upper section 4" deeper so the seats arent up against the window. my truck has an aftermarket driver's seat and the original pass.
with the passengers seat in, the upper half wont bolt down to the cab without the seat all the way forward.

my drivers seat sits alot higher, and is more adjustuble and i need to have it forward anyway so i can push the clutch in all the way. so its not as bad. it still wil probably touch when the truck is bouncing around on the trail though.

Well I hope to pick it up today, I'll post some pics if I get a chance. Going to find a local weatherstrip shop, going to need all kinds of good quality weatherstripping. I'm not sure what there is out there yet. I suppose worse case I could order up a bunch from an auto site like JCwitney or something.

I got weatherstripping from home depot made for
Pickup cappers the other day to seal my soft top rails on. So far so good. They had a big selection.

Teaser

Can't wait to get my truck up and running again and get this thing bolted on!

Ahhh gimme gimme. That'd make my life so much easier. I'm still debating my conversion idea. But like the other said, needs to be deeper/thicker. Need me one of those.
