box the frame or run a cage tied to the frame?

should i box entire frame or do well designed cage?

Anything is better than nothing. Most breaks and bends I see are right around the front springs rear hanger. I think cage work from the cab through the firewall to the front frame is key. If I had to do it over I would ditch the whole stock frame but live and learn.

Now I have to reread this thread to figure out what the best course of action was. I just want a stronger frame so I can run into things and smash them to pieces. :P I've noticed most of these cages or on K5's or Burbs. Can you cage a pickup without sacrificing bed space?
