Damn, dude... How soon are you going to do the SAW rebuild? I'm curious to see how it comes apart and how easy it is to rebuild. Maybe I can swing by and watch if the time is convenient.

I'm getting a pair of those coilovers for the 4 link rear. Can't wait for my build to begin.

I know, I heard you tell me the last time I came by. Hang on to it, gonna be a while.... gotta buy a ford 60, crossover steering arm, coilovers, etc before I can get that frame. So that way, I can get right to work on it.

took it out satuday night, all systems are go but I made a 1/4" mistake and it sheered both coilover shafts in a instant:eek1:

I left to much material at the top of the tab on the lower coilover mount on the axle, when I got it flexed up it bound and took out both shafts at the same time..:( lesson learned. ill post the other pics when I get the right card reader..

the rock crawler does great in everything but the rock crawling part:doah:

I got tabs from ruffstuf and they clear my fox shocks by 1/8" so if they want to move anywhere but straight up they hit. Need to trim them before I weld them on

these are just the 2.0 reservoir shocks, I have the space bushing for 1.5" mounting width and the 1 piece tabs from ruffstuff for the upper hoop and the axle C mount tabs for the axle side

nothing new, but...

I did get a sweet rack from a quad that i am going to use for a rack on the back, now I dont have to make one

I think it fits me:D

holy update...

getting some work done, current changes are rear 4 link. mounts, brackets moved and coil over mounts, changing the issue with head room, and adding a stinger/radiator support, then winch mount.

today got this done, plus removed the old x brace, adjusted and made the hood skin sit flush in the middle by the radiator. and removed roof tubes that were way to close to my head, I'll be changing them to a angled/dog leged set up.

on with the stinger.rad protectotube-thing-ma-bob

still need to add a gusset to each side and get a fair lead in there somewhere in the bumper, I figure plasma it out and use a aluminum has fairlead and put the winch behind the bumper and the solenoid box in the engine bay.. should be clean.

chugging along, some pics of the coil over mounts and upper link mounts are missing, still some things to do but its getting somewhere, I love the new stance of it, alot lower and no more binding or issues!

Nice progress... I jumped to the end of the thread so you may have mentioned it but who's shop are ya' working in?
Oh and X2 on the duramax on black rims...

the d-max s my buddy's truck, sweeeeeet it is, he has opted to leave it stock other than full exhaust, with his 38 foot goose neck we have pulled 2 rigs no problem!
he aslo has a locked up 3/4 ton full convertable caged blazer.

the shop is my another friends, the guy with the d-max works on custom projects down there and it is closer to our houses the body shop I am usually at in Scottsdale
