Building Blazer still

Going to try Ballistic Aluminum Links. Price is pretty good and they will make them to length built for me.

watch out for Ballistic, google them, search them on here and on pirate. Not to many good things. From what I've read a place called Letz Roll out of AZ is great to deal with and good pricing. I got my PSC full hyro from them and he was great, good price too.

If the words of Brnadon Watson from ORD,
"Cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,cycle the suspension, cycle the suspension,"
This is what he posted in my build thread.:D

So did you do it that many times or more? I'm betting more:haha:

:haha::haha:
I'm guessing easily more. Seemed like I was cycling it till all hours of the night and getting cross eyed. Doesn't hit anything though, only thing that matters. :bow:

The guy's at Gem Auto in Laramie Wyoming have been working on it for me & I believe they have been talking with ORD. Hell I have spent alot of $ on ORD parts, good stuff. Putting there Doubler in now also, that is how I decided to move the rear axel back 10 inches so I do not have to make a new driveline. The front Coil Over was ORD's Kit and they supplied the Coils for the rear.

I am at work now & will make it home next Wednesday, dam I am excited to see the Blazer. My job is letting me build something I have always wanted but it does not leave me any time to do it so Gem Auto is doing some of it for me! I am going to Blazer Bash this year damit! No more wishing, I am going!

That's what your after, We're changing the front suspension on the car and I'm so not looking forward to wrestling the D60 for hours on end for the cycling festival but it always pays off in the end.

I will second using anyone but ballistic for parts. Not that I have actually used them but watching the whole issue melt down on Pirate was enough for me.

What kind of Anti squat, roll axis etc are you getting your rear to work out to?

Not sure what they have, today is the first time I heard from them. I will talk to them tomorrow. I have been out of town for almost 6 weeks working.:dunno:

I finally made it home & the rear 4 link is close. Going to cycle it tomorrow to see if everything works. I will be there, is there anything I need to look for when the guys are doing this?

I just check on my motor being built also and most of the parts are in! It will be a BBC 540 full roller, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT EFI System, Hooker block hugger headers. It is being built by LTS Automotive Machine INC. here in Laramie Wyoming. I am not sure on all the internals yet but I was told it should make around 530hp & 640ft lbs of torque at elevation on pump gas. Power starting at 1,900 rpms. They will Dyno Tune it before I install it! Dam I am excited, my wife just ordered me ORD's Competition Style Motor Mounts for X-mas:woot:

I got some pictures of my motor today, it will be a BBC 555. This is from the builder. I have the cylinder block decked and finish honed. Today I will prep and clean the block, mock up the rotating assembly to check for clearance and balance the rotating assembly. We should be assembling the short block tomorrow or Friday. Attached are some pictures. :woot:

The rear 4 link Cycled out good, no binding or any problems at all angles. We ended up ordering the Aluminum Links from Summit Machine of Draper Utah and should have them tomorrow.
